- I manage LLCHD’s Division of Information & Fiscal Management. Currently I develop, coordinate, and administer department budget and fiscal services, information technology, and general business activities. I have 21 years of experience as the department’s CIO and CFO, 29 years of local public health experience, and 26 years of informatics-related experience. This includes program management of 20 or more major information technology projects. I have worked with a number of national initiatives including: (1) Reviewer for RWJF Information Links grant program; (2) Expert Reviewer of “Knowledge Management for Public Health Professionals” (January 2005 publication of ASTHO); (3) Recipient of NACCHO’s Model Practice designation for the development and implementation of an Information Integration Process; (4) National Association of Public Health Information Technology Executive Committee; (5) NACCHO representative on the Public Health Data Standards Consortium Board of Directors and Vice President of PHDSC for State and Local Public Health; and (6) Served four years on the NACCHO Informatics Workgroup; (7) External Reviewer for "Competencies for Public Health Informaticians 2009" published December 2009
