- Cindy is a Northrop Grumman Corporation contractor to the National Center for Public Health Informatics (NCPHI) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She has over 16 years experience as an information technology analyst. Experience includes standards-based messaging & vocabulary (HL7, SNOMED, LOINC, etc); data architecture, management and stewardship; business, database and user interface requirements gathering and analysis; data, process, and object modeling; IT system design and development, and user training and documentation. Cindy's experience covers a broad spectrum of subject areas including finance and investment, telecommunications, and information exchange standards. She has designed & developed various data entry systems and computer-to-computer interfaces, as well as operational data stores, and managed the data in several data bases. She has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Virginia and a Masters of Engineering Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.
