Public Health Adoption of LOINC - LOINC Dec Meeting Update

Greetings,
I am attaching one ppt slide that illustrates the Public Health Adoption and CDC activities related to LOINC.

Dr.Daniel Vreeman will be presenting about the LOINC / RELMA tutorial focussing on Public Health.

Case Reporting Standardization Workgroup (CRSWg) is actively working on standardizing the data elements (questions) present in all the CSTE position statements. You may want to look at the posting from CRSWg CoP which provides links to Post ISDS Conference (Miami, Dec 5th, 2009) livemeeting recording and other documents.

It may not be ready for listing on the slide, but PHLIP is also working on the LOINC set for Salmonella orders & linked results between SPHLs and CCID lab.
