I'm especially interested in learning the most effective way to describe health care access gaps (and affects) to policy makers as well as the general population. Below is a link to 3 short films about a free health care event that our Coalition worked with many partners to host in April, 2012. We welcome your input:

The specimen value set available on the PHIN VADS site is PHVS_Specimen_CDC_V6, so is this what should be used in 2.5.1 messages at this time? The implementation guide says it is TBD, but examples have HL70487. I'm not able to locate HL70487.

If anyone has an example of a properly formatted SPM-4 using the PHIN VADS specimen value set) that would also be appreciated.

Could someone provide me with a source for HL7 2.5.1 ELR test/demo messages? We are building a 2.5.1 ELR messaging capability and want to get a sense of how complete a typical message might be.
