You can make a difference in diabetes prevention and control by taking an active role in the National Diabetes Education Program. All organizations and individuals that share NDEP's mission, goals and strategies to improve the health outcomes of people with diabetes and people at risk for diabetes are welcome to be NDEP partners.
NDEP partners can expand their activities and have a greater impact by combining efforts and resources with NDEP and other organizations. They also have the opportunity to give input to the direction and approaches, and participate in the initiatives, of a national program.

Help Hispanic/Latino Patients Control Their Diabetes Without Giving Up Foods They Love.
It’s more than food, it’s life. Nutritional educational materials, from the National Diabetes Education Program, feature a booklet of tasty recipes and recipe card sets to help Hispanic/Latino individuals and their families eat well while managing their diabetes. Just and idea there is new research on diabetes and breastfeeding
Maybe we can do something promoting breastfeeding to reduce obesity and diabetes risk
