The InfoLinks CoP is a national community of public health professionals with experience in organizing, implementing, and working with Health Information Exchanges (HIEs). We seek to promote the use of HIEs and generate innovative solutions to today's barriers by sharing knowledge and openly discussing the real challenges faced by those on the frontlines of implementing HIEs in the United States. Our current membership is comprised of over 130 state, local, territorial, non-profit, academic and private public health professionals.
InfoLinks employs communication tools including webinars, CDC website/listserv and phConnect Collaboration Platform. Monthly webinars involving HIE process, technological and organizational related discussions enable InfoLinks CoP members who are beginning to explore information exchanges to learn from more-experienced practitioners, who can, in turn, share cutting edge information among themselves and continue to be innovators in their field. The Community meets via webinar/teleconference the second Thursday each month from 2:00 - 3:00 pm ET. The Planning Meeting/Conference Call is usually held the first Thursday of each month.
InfoLinks CoP knowledge products include leading practices documents, guidelines documents, knowledge repositories and a centralized knowledgebase of existing HIE-related projects and documentation and working papers.
