The InfoLinks CoP is a national community of public health professionals with experience and/or interest in organizing, implementing, and working with Health Information Exchanges (HIEs). We seek to promote the use of HIEs and generate innovative solutions to today's barriers by sharing knowledge and openly discussing the real challenges faced by those on the frontlines of implementing HIEs in the United States. Our current membership is comprised of over 130 federal, state, local, territorial, non-profit organization, academic and business public health professionals.
InfoLinks employs communication tools including webinars, CDC website/listserv and phConnect Collaboration Platform. Monthly webinars involving HIE process, technological and organizational related discussions enable InfoLinks CoP members who are beginning to explore information exchanges to learn from more-experienced practitioners, who can, in turn, share cutting edge information among themselves and continue to be innovators in their field. The Planning Group Conference Call is held the first Thursday of each month. The Community meets via webinar/teleconference the 2nd Thursday each month at 2:00 - 3:00 pm ET.
