record count and observations...

Hello,

    I have a problem with data in epi info.  Record count states 53 (deleted records excluded) and when I do the means, 48 observations are found.  How can that be???

Ghislaine,

 

Did you check to see if there are any missing values in the field you are requesting the means for?  Also check your set up to "include" or "exclude" "missing" values.

Hi Ghislaine,

Some of your records may have missing data for that field.  In Means --> Settings, check the box "Include Missing" (see attached screenshot)
